We are happy to welcome the newest member of our team, Zainab Al-Alawi, as our newest Salesforce Consultant. Zainab is a skilled data and business analyst with a lot of functional experience in Salesforce as a consultant.
Zainab has a keen interest in designing data-centric solutions that enable stakeholders at all business levels to understand and improve performance across key metrics. She has a wealth of experience across the entire Salesforce ecosystem from all around the globe in Education, FMCG and Construction.
I held a short interview with her to welcome her to the team!
Hey Zainab, so tell us a little bit about yourself!
I’m originally from New Zealand and moved to London with my dog, Poppy, just over two years ago. I have a keen interest in data-driven decision making and enjoy designing data-centric solutions that surface information in an insightful and actionable way.
What is your experience as a Salesforce Consultant?
I’ve been working within the Salesforce ecosystem for over six years. I started with a platinum partner in New Zealand as a functional consultant working with enterprise businesses spanning the Education, FMCG and Construction sectors before moving to an in-house role with a global fitness company. I have experience across Sales and Service Clouds and enjoy translating technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
What attracted you to working with Salesforce?
The variety and the ability to be creative in your approach to solving problems. I particularly enjoy being in a functional/BA role where you’re involved end-to-end with the initial discovery right through build, testing and end-user training. For me it’s the whole package – I could never be bored.
What interested you most about Trigg Digital?
I really liked Trigg’s focus on consultants being an extension of the in-house team. Returning to consulting from being in-house, it was important for me to be somewhere that focused on more than just delivering projects for their clients and was genuinely invested in their long term success.
Finally, what do you like doing in your spare time?
I love being outside and getting some exercise so I’ll go for big walks with my dog, play sports with friends and in warmer weather do a spot of yoga in the park. I also enjoy cooking and baking – currently obsessed with making a variety of different kinds of granola and baking my own bread. When not in a global pandemic, I love to travel. This time last year I was on safari in the Serengeti watching the start of the Wildebeest migration – seems like yesterday but also a lifetime ago!
I think I can speak on behalf of the rest of Trigg Digital in welcoming you to the team and we look forward to driving growth in the coming months.
